Featured on Picasa Web Albums

There's a new page that archives all the photos that have been featured on Picasa Web Albums. The page has a Media RSS feed, which can be added to any feed reader or it can be used as a source for Picasa's screensaver. If you don't have Picasa, you can view the images in a slideshow.

A great way to check the latest featured photos without visiting Picasa Web Albums is to add the image slideshow gadget to iGoogle. The gadget lets you view albums and search results from Flickr and Picasa Web, Google Image Search results and any Media RSS feed.

  1. Can someone tell me why I the search box in my Pixasa Web page no longer seems to work ?! It won't let me search my own photos, just the public ones ! Thanks.

  2. @ Rob
Seems to work fine for me - I search, then select the "My Photos" option on the left below "Search results for ..."

  3. Strange ... now it's working again but it wasn't for quite some time. Also don't like the way when you search it always searches first in public photos, forcing you to do a second search to find your own photo.

  4. Picassa should add more free space... 1 GB is not enough

  7. Wow. This only works on whole albums and not individual photos? Not very flexible there.
